Dr. Tyla Yauk is a native of Oklahoma. She grew up on a ranch in the northwestern plains and fell in love with veterinary medicine at an early age while working cattle alongside her dad. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University and has been practicing in Oklahoma for the past 4 years at multiple fast-paced small and mixed animal practices.
Recently, Dr. Yauk has decided to pursue relief work full time and is expanding her practice area into Arizona and Oklahoma. Motivated by the aspect of travel and new experiences, she hopes to bring small town charm and a warm smile into your clinic. She is well versed in all aspects of medicine and surgery. She also has developed a passion for preventative medicine and client education cultivated through multiple training seminars and workshops she’s attended. During her down time, Dr. Yauk enjoys spending time with her family and friends as much as possible on the lake or horseback riding. She has a rescue Pitbull named Shay that has become an excellent ranch dog!
