Hailing from Oak Ridge, New Jersey, Elizabeth Ashman, DVM came to Las Vegas after graduating from Ross University in September 2015. She completed her clinical training at Cornell University in upstate New York, where she gained a new appreciation for the outdoors and cold winters.
Introduced to veterinary medicine at a young age by her father, who is also a veterinarian, she quickly found it to be one of her true, lifelong passions. With one, very demanding and spoiled cat of her own, Dr. Ashman understands how animals can be such important members of the family.
Dr. Ashman believes it’s nice to not only make a difference to the pet itself, but also to the clients. Before joining Holiday Vets as a relief veterinarian, Dr. Ashman worked at a very busy, 12 doctor practice where she was exposed to a wide range of cases including emergency medicine, a variety of surgical procedures, and wellness exams. Her interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and infectious disease awareness and prevention. In her free time, Dr. Ashman enjoys hiking, skiing/snowboarding, camping, traveling, and cheering on her favorite football team, the New York Giants!
