Find Vet Clinic Jobs for DVMs Through Recruiters

It’s a great time to be looking for a new job as a veterinarian. There are a lot of veterinary job openings and salaries are rising to meet demand. But as a busy vet, actually searching for new vet clinic jobs is hard. A veterinary recruiter can help optimize your job search.

Recruiters make finding vet clinic jobs easy

When Can a Veterinary Recruiter Help?

Recruiters are excellent options for a variety of job seekers. Some common situations include:

  • Need discretion during job search
  • Too busy working to start searching
  • Relocating to a new area
  • Want the perfect fit in a new clinic
  • Want to know more about the job than what’s in the ad

Minimize Applications, Maximize Exposure

By using Holiday Vet as your recruiter, you have access to a deep network of hiring managers and vet clinic jobs across the country. Even better, you only send one resume, and we present that to clinics that are actively hiring on your behalf.

Unlike other recruiting agencies, we are veterinary professionals. We know what can make vet clinic jobs go from acceptable to amazing. We ask the clinics not just the standard questions of hours and salary, but also work style, record-keeping standards, and other details that will impact your job satisfaction. We then match your expectations and preferences with clinics that are actively looking for DVMs.

This simplified process means that you don’t have to carve out time to do multiple interviews, keeping your schedule free and stress levels low.

How Recruiting Works With Vet Clinic Jobs

We offer both direct recruiting, or permanent placement, as well as temp-to-perm options. Direct veterinary recruiting means that you’ll be hired directly by the practice immediately, with all their benefits, starting at day one. Direct recruiting is a great option if you’re sure about what you’re looking for in a vet clinic job.

Temp-to-Perm

Temp-to-perm positions start with a designated probationary period, usually 3 to 6 months, where you’re technically employed with Holiday Vet. You’ll receive a W-2 from us at the end of the year, and you’ll be able to take advantage of our suite of benefits, including health insurance and retirement investing. After the initial period, you’ll switch to the clinic’s payroll system and be paid directly through your new employer.

A temp-to-perm position is great if you’re relocating and not sure where animal hospitals are in relation to your new home, or if you’re not quite sure about what you’re looking for in your next clinic. The temp portion allows you to try out the employer as much as they see how you work.
